What is a fire risk assessment?
A fire risk assessment is an integral part of the overall fire safety plan of your premises. In its most basic form, it is a review of a building to assess it for potential fire risks and also provides recommendations on how to increase fire safety if deemed necessary.
If your building or premises usually has more than five occupants in situ at any one time, then it is a legal requirement to have a recorded fire risk assessment.
That said, should the building operate with less than five occupants, we still advise that there is a written copy of your fire risk assessment.
What can we provide?
We can offer you a comprehensive fire risk assessment, including an action plan which clearly outlines the list of recommendations to be acted upon in order that your building is fire safety compliant.
FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT REVIEW
We advise your fire risk assessment to be reviewed annually with a brand new assessment required every five years.
Should the purpose or layout of a building change substantially, then a new assessment will also be required.
Based in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, we operate across the West Midlands, in both Birmingham and Solihull.
